Betes Mühendislik respects your privacy. This policy explains what data SmartFilter collects and how it is used.

1. Data We Collect

• License Key: the license key you enter to activate SmartFilter.
• Device Identifier: a non-personally-identifiable hardware identifier (derived from your CPU and motherboard information) used solely to enforce the license's device activation limit.
• Purchase Information: When you purchase a license, your name, email, and payment details are collected directly by our payment processor and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, and are subject to Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy. Lemon Squeezy, as our payment processor and data sub-processor, is contractually required to protect this data to a standard consistent with this policy. We do not receive or store your payment card details. 

2. How We Use This Data

• To activate and validate your license.
• To enforce the plan's device activation limit.
• To provide customer support when you contact us.

3. Data Storage

• Your license key and device identifier are stored locally on your computer, encrypted using Windows Data Protection API (DPAPI), and are not accessible to other users or applications on your machine.
• License activation data is transmitted securely (HTTPS) to Lemon Squeezy for validation.

4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, except with Lemon Squeezy as required to process license activation and payments.

6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your license key and device identifier for as long as your subscription is active, in order to validate and enforce your license. If you cancel your subscription or request account deletion, your license and device data are deactivated in Lemon Squeezy's systems and no longer validated by SmartFilter. Locally stored data on your device is removed when you uninstall the application.

7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at info@betesmuhendislik.com. We will process such requests within a reasonable timeframe.
